  • Starting October 1, 2024, Whatfix will update the Internet Explorer baseline version to IE 11. This means that Whatfix will no longer support any issues arising on versions below IE 11, and all new product changes and updates will be tested and supported on IE 11 and newer versions. However, this will not affect any functionality of Whatfix content on IE 10 or below.

  • For applications where code embedding is not possible, users can deploy Whatfix using browser extensions on Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Edge (Chromium), and Internet Explorer.

  • Internet Explorer 9+, and Opera 15+ support web applications with Frame sets.

  • Ensure that your web applications use the Standard document mode in Internet Explorer.

  • Internet Explorer supports end-user extensions.

  • Since August 17, 2021, Internet Explorer no longer supports content creation. For more information, check Microsoft 365 apps say farewell to Internet Explorer 11 and Windows 10 sunsets Microsoft Edge Legacy.
