Note:
To enable Flow on Standby in your account, contact support@whatfix.com.
When a Flow fails, Flow on Standby ensures that users can continue with the process of completing the Flow.
A Flow may fail if the element on which a certain step should display changes or cannot be detected. Often, Flow failure doesn't mean that the user also has to stop to achieve their end goal. It might still be possible to complete the next step(s).
When a Whatfix Flow fails to proceed to the next step, Flow on Standby shows a dialog box of the failed step so users can continue with the Flow. The Flow on Standby dialog box appears at the bottom-right corner of the page.

Note:
Users can continue with the Flow as they would if they use the information in the Standby and proceed to the next step(s).
Test Flow on Standby using the Preview Mode.
A Tooltip with the default text appears with the dialog box, but only once for each user.

When you create a Flow, the screenshots of each step are automatically captured so that they can be used in case the Flow fails.
Flows that are completed using Flow on Standby are still considered as Flow Failures in the Flow Failure Report insight.
Flows that are completed using Flow on Standby are considered completed in a Task List. This reflects in Task List Analytics also.
The screenshot in Flow on Standby supports the Blackout feature.
Info:
The Flow on Standby dialog box is not displayed when an account has Smart Context enabled and the failed step is not on the same page.
