Preview Smart Tips

Whatfix Desktop enables you to preview Smart Tips before publishing them to your end users using the Whatfix Desktop Player.

Note

Ensure that the Smart Tip segment you want to preview is active on your dashboard.

Use the following Steps to preview a Beacon using the Whatfix Desktop Player:

  1. Launch your target application, and then launch the Whatfix Studio.

  2. On the top-right corner, click the Preview mode icon.

  3. Click Enter and then refresh the browser.

Note:

If the content you want to preview is in the Draft stage, then select the Include Draft content and widgets. checkbox.

  1. Hover your cursor over the Smart Tip to preview it.

  2. Disable Preview mode using the toggle button on the top of your screen.

Note:

For longer tooltips or when your using the application in the minimized state, Whatfix enables you to display the tip outside your application window to ensure that your end users don't miss any content.
