Upload Videos to your Dashboard

Article Summary

You can upload your videos to the Dashboard and then insert them in your Flows, Smart Tips, and other Whatfix content to enhance your content with additional information. The video plays in a Pop-up on the same page when triggered.

You can create Videos on the Dashboard or by using Whatfix Studio.

When you upload a video to the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, Whatfix does not process or modify the files you upload. They are uploaded as is.

Using Studio to create static content ensures that the content appears contextually on the page that it is supposed to show. Whatfix does this by adding Auto tags to the content. If static content is created using the Dashboard, you have to add these tags manually for them to appear contextually in widgets such as Self Help and Task List.
