Embed a Vidyard video using Embed code

Adding video embed code in a Pop-up is a 2-step process.

Step 1: Get the video embed code
Step 2: Insert the video embed code in the Pop-up

Use the following steps to add a Vidyard video to a Pop-up,

  1. Go to the location where the video file is located in your Vidyard account.

  2. Hover your cursor over the video and click the Share button.

  3. Click the Copy link button to copy the link to your clipboard.

Step 2: Insert the video in the pop-up

  1. On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.

  2. Click Pop-ups.

  3. Hover your cursor over the Pop-up segment you want to configure, and then click the Edit icon.

  4. In the Description section, place the cursor where you want to add the video and double-click to open the Rich Text Editor.

  5. Click the Insert Video icon.

  1. Click the By URL icon and paste the video URL.

Note

After adding the video URL, the video can look broken. But it will work fine after publishing or when using Preview Mode.

  1. Click Insert and finish creating the Pop-up.
