The following are the updates for DAP on Web:
Quick Capture: Now available to allGA
What is new?
Quick Capture is now generally available (GA) to all users. You simply perform the task once on your application, and Whatfix captures everything in the background and automatically converts it to a flow with titles and descriptions.
Enhancement: New live edit experience
You can now view the captured screens in an all-new improved experience. When you click Done on the minimized studio, you are redirected to the Live Edit interface that enables you to:
Quickly review all captured steps in a single view.
Click anywhere on the captured step to instantly add or edit the purpose and description for each step inline.
Here’s how the new experience appears:

Why does it matter to me?
Previously, building a 10-step flow could take up to several minutes of tedious, repetitive work. If you needed to make a quick change, it often meant workarounds, interrupted sessions, or restarting captures mid-workflow.
Now, you simply perform the task on your application and Whatfix captures each click and genrates the tiles and description automatically. You can also use instant Live Edit capabilities, and easily polish your content without any friction. The result is fewer wasted captures, reduced switches, and content that accurately reflects your live application workflows.
How do I do this?
Users part of the Authoring Agent in the DAP AI add-on package have access to enhanced capabilities such as AI-generated title and description and Enhance with AI. To enable or discuss this feature, please contact your Customer Success Manager. For all other standard features or Beta capabilities, contact the support team.
For users who are not part of the Authoring Agent add-on, standard title and description generation remains available as part of the default functionality.
Quick Capture is now available to all users and will be rolled out in phases starting Q2R1 2026.

End-user Feedback in CuesBeta
What is new?
Collect end-user feedback on Cues to understand how helpful and relevant your in-app guidance is within users’ workflows.

Why does it matter to me?
Understanding how end users perceive Cues helps improve the effectiveness of in-app guidance and drive better adoption outcomes. With feedback collection enabled, end users can quickly share whether a Cue was useful, providing direct insights into the quality and relevance of guidance delivered across applications.
How do I do this?
This capability is available as part of Cues. Cues is a Beta feature. Contact support@whatfix.com or your Customer Success Manager to enable the feature. For more information, see Enable End-user feedback in Cues.
Auto-heal for Content Element Detection FailuresBeta
What is new?
Whatfix now automatically detects and repairs eligible element detection failures at runtime using AI-powered Auto-heal, reducing the need for manual content maintenance and republishing.
Why does it matter to me?
Applications frequently undergo UI updates, feature enhancements, and design changes that can modify underlying page elements without changing the visible user experience. These changes can prevent Whatfix from identifying elements that Flows, Smart Tips, Beacons, Launchers, Blockers, or User Actions are attached to, causing content to stop appearing or functioning as expected.
With Auto-heal, Whatfix automatically identifies the most likely replacement element when a supported content item encounters an element detection failure. This helps maintain the continuity of guided experiences without requiring content authors to investigate issues, reselect elements, or republish content.
For example, if a Submit Request button in your application receives updated HTML attributes after a release, any Flow step attached to that button may fail to load. Auto-heal can automatically identify the updated button and restore the Flow experience without requiring the content author to investigate, reconfigure, or republish the content.
By reducing manual maintenance effort and helping content recover faster from application changes, Auto-heal improves the reliability of in-app guidance and lowers the operational impact of application updates.
How do I do this?
Auto-heal is a Beta feature. For more information, see ScreenSense: Auto-heal Content Failures.
GxP Ready: Audit Logs RefactorGA
What is new?
Audit logs now display clear, readable activity details instead of technical entries, making it easier to review and understand user and system actions.
Why does it matter to me?
These enhancements help organizations meet compliance and audit requirements in regulated environments.
With this enhancement, you can:
Review audit logs more easily with human-readable activity details.
Improve traceability of production changes.
Support compliance requirements for audits and inspections.
How do I do this?
Audit Logs UI is available on the Whatfix Dashboard by default and do not require additional configuration. For more information, see Audit Logs captured by Whatfix.
Bulk Export for TeammatesGA
What is new?
Whatfix now enables you to export teammate details directly from the Teammates dashboard. The exported CSV file includes teammate information such as email, role, teammate type, status, date joined, content count, and access expiry, making it easier to review and manage users across workspaces.
Why does it matter to me?
Previously, reviewing or managing large user lists across multiple workspaces required manual effort.
With this enhancement, you can:
Export teammate details in a single CSV file.
Review and audit user information more efficiently.
Simplify user management across multiple workspaces.
Use exported user data when onboarding teammates to another workspace.
How do I do this?
Bulk Export for Teammates are available on Whatfix Dashboard by default and do not require additional configuration. For more information, see Understand Teammates.
