Whatfix enables you to make your articles more engaging by adding images. Adding visuals helps end users grasp concepts quickly and improve retention and recall of information.
Note:
It is recommended that you host images on the Whatfix Guidance Dashboard to ensure they are accessible and display correctly. If you add images using URLs from sites such as SharePoint, Google Drive, and more, the images might not display if they are restricted or require login access.
If you want to use such URLs, they must first be whitelisted. For whitelisting such URLs, contact support@whatfix.com.
Use the following steps to add an image to your article:
Step 1: Upload the image as static content on the Whatfix Guidance dashboard
For more information, see Upload Images to your Dashboard.
Step 2: Copy the image link
On the Whatfix Guidance Dashboard, click Content.
Click the Image you created.
In the Image Link section, click Copy Link.
Step 3: Add the Image Link to the Article
On the Whatfix Guidance Dashboard, click Content.
Click Articles.
Click the article where you want to add an image.
Place the cursor where you want to insert the image in the article, and click the Insert Image icon in the Rich Text Editor.
Paste the copied Image Link, and then click Insert.
Click Save Article.
