Article summary

Whatfix enables you to analyze your users' progress as they go through the mirrored application. Funnel View and Table View enable you to identify where users are failing or dropping off. This information can help you make improvements to the mirrored application and enhance the user experience.

Funnel View

The Funnel view of the events displays the following:

  • The total number of unique users who engaged with the Funnel step.
  • The subsequent slopes display the drop-off percentage of the users. For example, a steeper slope (shown in red) indicates that a high percentage of users have not engaged with the Funnel step.
  • The average of the total time taken between two events.

The Funnel view also displays the Funnel Summary that has the following metrics:

  • Time taken to complete the Funnel: Shows how long the users took to complete the entire process based on the following 3 measures:

  • Average: The sum of the total time taken by each user to complete a process, divided by the number of users. For example, the average total time taken by the 100 users to complete the entire Funnel is 59 minutes and 1 second, which means that typically, users are taking 59m 1s to complete the process. This is calculated by taking the individual completion time of each user and dividing it by 100.

    • Median: The median is the middle value when total time taken by each user is arranged in order from the shortest to the longest. For example, the median time taken by the users to complete the Funnel is 55m 7s, which means that half of the users are taking less than and half are taking more than 55m 7s to complete the process.

    • 95th percentile: It is the time taken by 95% of users to complete the process. For example, the 95th percentile is 3m 1s, which means that only 5% of the users are taking more than 3m 1s to complete the process.

  • Slowest Step: Shows which Funnel step the users spent most time on.

  • Biggest Drop: Shows which Funnel step witnessed the highest number of users drop off.
