Whatfix enables you to create and track Analytics Variables to capture contextual data points from your end user's application environment. After configuring Analytics Variables, Whatfix enables you to visualize how these variables correlate with end-user behavior using Trend Insights. The process is similar to visualizing Guidance events and App events using Trend Insights.
For example, you can use Trend Insights to analyze how users with a Manager role engage with a specific feature, or track how many times an action occurs while a particular Invoice ID is active.
Trend Insights enable you to do the following:
Visualize Analytics Variable data using different chart types.
Apply User filters and breakdowns.
Export and schedule the engagement data.
Use cases:
Track how many times the Submit Invoice button was clicked while a specific Invoice ID was active.
Determine the number of unique users with the Admin role who engaged with a specific workflow during the past month.
Compare how many times the Approve Leave button was clicked by users grouped under different department attributes.
Note:
Before you can visualize engagement data for an Analytics Variable, you must create and publish the Analytics Variable. For more information, see Create an Analytics Variable.
