User Actions enable you to track end-user engagement on your application. However, a User Action can also be associated in the following ways:
- Used as Visibility Rules for all widget segments
- Mapped as a Goal in Flows
- Used as a Flow trigger
- Added as part of a Funnel
Deleting a User Action also removes it from the widget segments, Flows, and the Funnel it is linked to. You may want to delete a User Action if you've reached the limit in your account or you no longer need to capture the engagement data for a particular interaction.
Use the following steps to delete a User Action:
-
On the Whatfix Analytics dashboard, click Tracking.
-
Click Events.
-
In the User Actions section, hover your cursor over the User Action that you want to delete.
-
Click the Delete icon.
-
On the confirmation pop-up, click Delete User Action.
If the User Action you want to delete is linked to any Whatfix content or Funnel, the confirmation pop-up shows you the content to which the User Action is linked. Deleting the User Action also removes it from the linked content.
- Perform a push to Production to remove the User Action from the application.
Use the following steps to delete multiple User Actions:
-

-

-
Select the User Actions that you want to delete.
-

-
On the confirmation pop-up, click Delete User Actions.
If the User Actions you want to delete are linked to any Whatfix content or Funnel, the confirmation pop-up shows you the content to which the User Actions are linked. Deleting the selected User Actions also removes them from the linked content.
- Perform a push to Production to remove the User Actions from the application.
- Once a User Action is deleted, analytics is no longer captured.
