  4. Open the downloaded CSV file. Under the header userId, list the User IDs one below the other.

    Note:

    • The User IDs in your CSV must exactly match the IDs configured in Whatfix for identifying users. For example, if you’re using email IDs to uniquely identify users, the same email IDs must be included in the CSV file.

    • Ensure that you do not remove or rename the userId header in the CSV file.

    • Whatfix enables you to upload a CSV file with up to 40,000 rows.

  5. Save the file with a name of your choice. For example, Sales.csv.

  6. On the Whatfix Analytics dashboard, drag and drop or choose the CSV file from the local drive to upload the User list.

    Info:

    • If your file is uploaded successfully, Whatfix denotes it by a green checkmark.

    • If there are any errors in the file (such as the file not being in .csv format, the userId header being removed, or the file having more than one column), the file is not uploaded and Whatfix displays the following message. Resolve the errors and re-upload the file.

    • Click the Delete icon to remove the file.
