Whatfix enables you to add seven types of questions to your Survey. You can choose a question type based on your use case.
Questions can be associated with conditions to make your Surveys concise and clear. These conditions can prevent end users from answering irrelevant questions.
Conditions enable you to determine which question should appear next based on the user's response to the previous question. Depending on your use case, you can apply different conditions to different questions.
The following table provides descriptions for each question type along with the conditions you can use it with:
Text box - single line
Description
A single line text box question type asks your respondents to write a short answer or a one-line answer to the question.
Condition
The condition enables you to decide which question should be displayed to the respondents after they answer the current question.
Text box - multi line
Description
A multi line text box question type asks your respondents to briefly answer the question.
Condition
The condition enables you to decide which question should be displayed to the respondents after they answer the current question.
Single choice
Description
A single choice question type enables your respondents to choose only one option from the given choices.
Condition
In a single choice question, there is only one correct answer. If the respondent answers correctly, you can guide them to the end message or a different question using the conditions.
Multiple choice
Description
A multiple choice question enables your respondents to choose one or more options from the given choices.
Condition
The condition enables you to decide which question should be displayed to the respondents after they answer the current question.
Opinion scale
Description
The opinion scale question type asks your respondents to rate their experience. You can either add a 5-point scale or a 7-point scale.
Add a Start label and an End label.
For example, the Start label can be 'Very Good' and the End label can be 'Bad'.
Your title goes here
You can also choose to label all the options by enabling the Label all option checkbox.
Condition
If the respondent rates their experience positively in the opinion scale question type, you can guide them to the end message or a different question using the condition.
Use the Otherwise, skip to option to redirect the respondent to a different question if their answer does not match with the conditions you set.
NPS
Description
The Net Promoter Score (NPS) asks your respondents to rate their experience with the product, and this helps you understand user satisfaction and how likely they are to promote your product.
Condition You can have different conditions for different scores in the NPS Question type. You can then direct the respondent to different questions based on their responses.Use the Otherwise, skip to option to redirect the respondent to a different question based on the score provided by them.
Star rating
Description
A star rating is a type of rating question that asks respondents to rate their experience on a 5-point scale that is represented by stars.
Condition
You can have different conditions for different star ratings in the Star rating question type. You can direct the respondents to different questions based on their responses.Use the Otherwise, skip to option to redirect the respondent to a different question based on the rating provided by them.
