The search results can include the following content types:

  • Flows
  • Links
  • Repository Links
  • Images
  • PDFs
  • Videos
  • Articles

You can choose between two configuration options for the Search Scope of a particular Self Help segment:

  • All Flows: The search results include all content in Production. This option is chosen by default.
  • Tags: With the Tags option, you can provide a tag condition, that is, a combination of Tags joined by the AND/OR operators. All content in Production that satisfy the tag condition appear in the search results of the segment.
For more information on how conditions work, see How to use AND and OR conditions inside widget segments.

The content displayed to an end user also depends on the following:

  • Page tags: Content tagged with page tags shows only in the search results on the pages defined by those tags.
  • Role tags: Content tagged with role tags shows only to end users with the correct role.
  • Auto tags: When Smart Context is enabled, content tagged with an auto tag only shows in the search results on pages defined by the auto tag.

To configure Self Help's search to not consider Smart Context, contact support@whatfix.com.
