Add a video to Task List

Whatfix enables you to embed videos in the Task List irrespective of whether they are created by Whatfix using a Flow or if they are generated using third-party applications.
Whatfix videos: Videos created by Whatfix using Flows when the Video Channel
Non-Whatfix videos: Videos created using a video editor tool by you or an agency and stored in your Google Drive, Dropbox, YouTube, Vimeo, etc., account.
When your end-users click a video content in Task List, a pop-up opens and the video is played inside the popup as shown below.
To embed Whatfix Videos,
On the Whatfix dashboard, navigate to the Production tab.
Open the Flow you want to embed, and then click the Embed dropdown menu.
Click Video from the drop-down.
Click the Copy iFrame button.
Paste the copied iFrame code in a text editor.
Delete everything except the video URL as shown in the following.
Add https: before the edited URL.
On the Whatfix Dashboard, click Widgets.
Navigate to the Task List segment you want to add a video link to and click the Edit icon.
Under create, select Video Link.
Enter the name of the video and the URL from Step 8, and then click Save.
If you have enabled Smart Context, all content created on your application is auto-tagged. To add more tags, see Add Tags to content

- Click Save again to save the segment.
To embed Non-Whatfix Videos,
On the Whatfix Dashboard, under the Widgets section, navigate to the Task List segment you want to embed the video to.
Under the create section, select Video Link.
Enter the name of the video and the URL, and then click Save.
If the videos are from Youtube or Vimeo, the URL can be used directly. But if the videos are from Sharepoint, OneDrive or Google Drive, then use the information below to see how the URL can be retrieved for each platform. The URL that is entered in the Video Link is a little different depending on where your video is sourced from. Click one of the links below to continue. Using Microsoft Stream or using the local upload feature. SharePoint does not allow you to share videos that have been locally uploaded, outside SharePoint. Only those videos that are uploaded to Microsoft Stream can be inserted as video content on Whatfix. Use the following steps to get the URL for the Microsoft Stream video on SharePoint, Use the following steps to get the URL of a video that's on OneDrive Navigate to the OneDrive video and select the video. On the OneDrive menu bar, click the Embed tab. Copy and use only the highlighted part of the URL as shown below. Note: Use the following steps to get the URL of a video that's on Google Drive, Navigate to the video on Google Drive and open it. On the top right, click the vertical ellipsis, and then click Open in a new window. On the new window, on the top right, click the vertical ellipsis and then click Embed item. Copy and use only the highlighted part of the URL as shown in the following.

OneDrive videos open in the entire tab by default. Click the browser back button to go back to the page that you were on.
- Click Select and add the video you just created, and then click Save.
