Whatfix Comments enables you to add contextual comments on any webpage for seamless collaboration. This enables real-time collaboration which means that you can work in tandem with your team on any webpage and see their comments in real-time. When you add a comment, the mentioned team members are instantly notified both on the Whatfix Comments widget and via email.
Add a comment
To add a comment on a webpage, click the + icon on the Whatfix Comments widget.
Alternatively, you can add a comment from inside of the Whatfix Comments widget by clicking the Add comments on page icon.
Every time you add a comment, the page link and a screenshot of that page are automatically shared with the people you tag. This ensures everyone has the necessary context for your comment.

You can choose not to share the screenshot by clicking the Disable Screenshot icon.
Tag your teammates
You can tag your teammates in a comment by using the @ symbol followed by their name. This ensures they are notified and their attention is directed to the relevant content.
Similarly, whenever someone tags you in a comment, you are notified on the Whatfix Comments widget and with an email as soon as the comment is added.

Whatfix Comments enables you to add comments for some specific usecases using the following tags:
- @all: Use this tag to send a comment to everyone in the workspace.
- @help: Use this tag to send a comment to the Whatfix Support Team to inform the team about any issues.
- @feedback: Use this tag to give a feedback about Whatfix Comments.
