A workspace is a dedicated area where Whatfix enables you to collaborate with a group of people who are also part of the same workspace. For example, if you’re working on a project with several team members, each focusing on different tasks, the workspace provides a centralized platform where everyone can:
- Communicate: Share messages, updates, and feedback related to the project.
- Collaborate: Work together on various aspects of the project by accessing shared documents and resources.
- Organize: Keep all project-related content and discussions in one place, making it easier to track progress and manage tasks.
Create public or private workspaces and invite people to join by tagging them using their email ID.
Use the following steps to create a workspace in Whatfix Comments:
-
Click the Whatfix Comments widget.
-
Using the dropdown on the top right, click Create or join workspace.
-
Click Create Workspace.
-
Create a unique name for your workspace.
-
Click Next
If you want to create a public workspace for your organization, enable the Allow anyone with email to join this workspace checkbox.
By default, the comments left in a workspace are not seen be eveyone. Use @all tag to send a comment to everyone in your workspace.
