Configure the Flow Automation Pop-up

When your users launch an automated Flow, a Pop-up appears on the bottom of the application while the rest of the screen is made non-interactive, that is, the user cannot interact with any element on the application. This Pop-up displays information such as the Flow name, the step number being auto-executed, and at which step the next user input is required.

Use the following steps to configure the Flow Automation Pop-up:

  1. On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Style.

  2. Click Flows.

  1. On the Flow page, click the Automation tab.

  2. The following configurations can be changed:

  • Automation Message: Enable or disable the Flow Automation Pop-up.
  • Next Input Required: Show or hide information regarding when the next user input is required.
  • Background Opacity (%): This can be used to configure the opacity of the overlay. By default, it is set at 50%.

  1. Click Save to save the changes.

If you click Discard changes, all the modifications you've made to the content will be lost, and the page will revert to its previous saved state.

  • The Flow Automation Pop-up can also be configured at a Flow level. For more information, see Customize flows.

  • The Flow level configuration takes precedence over the Account level configuration.
