Whatfix enables you to use dynamic URLs in Pop-ups. A dynamic URL automatically adjusts based on specific variables, such as the website domain or environment. This ensures that the URL in your Pop-up remains valid, even if part of the domain changes. For instance, set a dynamic URL that automatically adapts when the subdomain switches from https://dev.example.com to https://example.com, without needing to manually update the URL.
Use the following steps to add dynamic URLs for Whatfix Pop-ups:
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.
Click Pop-ups.
Hover your cursor over the Pop-up segment you want to configure, and then click the Edit icon.
Hover your cursor over the button and then click to open the Button Configuration Menu.
Next to Action, select the Attach URL option from the dropdown.
Paste the copied URL in the Enter URL field and wrap the dynamic portion of your URL with curly braces, as shown in the following image:
Once you are done creating the Pop-up, click Save.
