Filter User Lists as User filters in Funnel Insights to drill down on the user behavior. The feature enables the inclusion or exclusion of specific user groups from data analysis.
Use cases
Measure how many new users progress through and complete a process.
Identify the step where Sales representatives drop off in a process.
Evaluate completion rates of a process for customer support agents.
Use the following steps to add a User List in Funnel Insight:
- On the Whatfix Analytics dashboard, click Insights.

Click Create insights.

Click Funnel Insights.

Click the Give your insight a name textbox and enter a name for your Insight.

Click the Description text box and enter a description that explains the purpose of the Funnel Insight.

From the Select user type dropdown, choose whether to analyze data for All users, Identified users, or Anonymous users.
Note:- By default, Insights data may contain identified (users identified by User ID) and unidentified (users not identified but denoted by Anonymized Whatfix IDs) users.
- The Event identification rate indicates the percentage of events Whatfix is able to attribute to uniquely identified users.

Click the Data source icon and select the stage from which you want to get the data. For more information, see Get Analytics Data across CLM Stages.

Under Funnel setup, choose Total attempts or Unique users to analyze the behavior. For more information, see What are Funnel Insights?

To add your Flows, Custom events, or Page view, in the Funnel steps section, click Add.

In the User filter section, click Add user filter.

Scroll to Cohorts & Users, and click User List.

Note:
Whatfix enables you to add only up to two User Lists as User filters.
Select the desired User List to filter users, and then click Apply. In this example, New users is the User List.

Info:
User Lists are available only in the User filter section.
Whatfix enables you to add Cohorts created with User lists as User filter.
Use Does not equal to to exclude a User List of users from your analysis. For more information, see How can I exclude filter values in Product Analytics?

Use the default and custom date filters to filter the data for a specific date range.

After the setup is complete, scroll down to view the generated data chart.

Click Save.
