Introducing the New Dashboards Experience

What is new?

Whatfix introduces the revamped Dashboard experience with new capabilities and an intuitive user interface (UI). The New Dashboard experience now displays key metrics on each Insight, enables you to add descriptions to Insights and create out-of-the-box Insights within seconds while building or editing Dashboards, and more.

Why does it matter to me?

The new experience addresses challenges in creating Dashboards, such as the lack of flexibility in adding out-of-the-box Insights and interpreting data, including the lack of context for Insights and missing key engagement highlights.

It includes the following updates:

  • Provides metrics: Insights now display top engagement trends, such as the most engaged events and peak engagement days.
  • Enables adding descriptions to Insights: Add descriptions to help stakeholders understand Insights.
  • Enables faster out-of-the-box Insight creation: Create new Insights directly while building or editing a Dashboard.
  • Provides Ask Whatfix AI support to generate Insights: Use Ask Whatfix AI to generate and add Insights to your Dashboard.
    Note:
Ask Whatfix AI is a Beta feature. Contact support@whatfix.com to enable it.

How do I do this?

This capability is available to everyone without any extra configuration. For more information, see Create Custom Dashboards in Analytics.

Introducing User Centric View (Static Cohorts)

What is new?
Whatfix enables the upload of a CSV file containing a list of User IDs to create a Cohort for that specific group. This Cohort can be used to target Whatfix content to that group of users or include or exclude them from data analysis. For example, upload a User list containing the User IDs of all Sales team members to create a Cohort that targets Whatfix content to this specific team.

Why does it matter to me?

The User Centric View (Static Cohorts) provides the following benefits:

  • Create Whatfix content for targeted user groups without needing to set up User Attributes or an integration.
  • Filter test users from data analysis without manual effort.
  • Compare Whatfix content or application engagement across various groups without manual setup.

How do I do this?

This capability is available to everyone without any extra configuration. For more information, see What are Static cohorts (User lists)? and Create a Static Cohort (User list).

Funnel Support for Ask Whatfix AI

What is new?

Ask Whatfix AI, the AI-powered capability, can now turn your process engagement queries such as the number of users dropping off from a process or the average time taken to complete a process, into Funnel Insights.

Why does it matter to me?

Creating a Funnel Insight manually can be cumbersome if unsure what events (Flow steps, Custom events, or Page Views) or filters to add. With Ask Whatfix AI, no setup of events or filters is necessary to generate a Funnel Insight. It answers process-related questions with a Funnel Insight visualization automatically without any manual setup.

How do I do this?

Use the Sign up for Beta button to enable this feature. For more information on Ask Whatfix AI, see Ask Whatfix AI.
