Unable to capture values from a drop-down menu

Issue:

There may be instances when as part of capturing an automated Flow, your steps include capturing a value from a dropdown menu.

Cause:

Once you expand the dropdown menu and try to capture the value, the click that you use to launch select the step closes the dropdown menu. (Value empty)

Solution:

Select the desired value in the dropdown and then select the element on the page. This captures the desired value in the dropdown on the Studio. (Application)
