White Labeling end-user API requests
What is new?
Whatfix is excited to announce the upcoming support for a new proxy integration method that provides greater control over security and simplifies deployment within restricted environments. This new approach enables you to route all end-user API requests to Whatfix through your own internal proxy server.
Why does it matter to me?
Previously, you needed to modify existing Content Security Policies (CSPs) to accommodate Whatfix changes and often encountered references to Whatfix in your application. Here's how Whatfix aims to address the key challenges:
- CSP Compliance: If your organization enforces strict CSPs, modifications require security reviews for CSP changes related to Whatfix. This new proxy integration eliminates the need to modify CSPs to accommodate Whatfix, streamlining the deployment process and reducing the burden on your security team.
- Enhanced Security: Routing requests through your proxy server enables you to implement additional security measures, such as threat detection and filtering, adding an extra layer of protection for your end users. You maintain full control over the traffic and can tailor security policies to your specific needs.
- White-Labeling: This feature enables white-labeling of end-user API requests, removing direct references to "Whatfix." This provides a more seamless and branded experience, reinforcing your organization's identity.
How do I do this?
To set up the integration, click the Contact Support button.

Whatfix Diagnostics
What is new?
We're introducing Whatfix Diagnostics to help you identify and resolve issues with your content and widgets. When a Flow step fails or a widget doesn’t appear as expected, enabling the Diagnostics panel enables real-time monitoring of your content and widgets as they run on the page. It offers detailed feedback, highlighting what works and what doesn’t, guiding you to fix issues independently.
Why does it matter to me?
Previously, when you ran into content or widget issues, troubleshooting required trial and error or contacting Support. With Whatfix Diagnostics, you can:
- See exactly when and why a content piece or widget does not work as expected.
- Receive clear information on how to fix the issue.
- Improve the testing process before rolling content out to your end users.
- Find and resolve issues without heavily relying on Whatfix support.
