Link a Flow to a Beacon

Whatfix enables you to link an existing Flow to a Beacon. End users have the option to either view the Flow or skip it. Linking Flows to a Beacon helps you provide additional guidance to your users.

Linking a Flow to a Beacon is a two-step process:

Step 1: Find the Flow ID that you want to link
Step 2: Link the Flow to the Beacon

Find the Flow ID

Use the following steps to find the Flow ID:

Use the following steps to link the Flow to the Beacon:

4. Click the Edit button on the Beacon you want to attach the Flow.
   
5. Select the text to which you want to link a Flow.
   
6. In the action menu, click the Insert Link icon.
   
7. In the URL field, enter the Flow ID in the following format:
   wfx-{FlowID}
   where Flow ID is the information copied in Step 2.

   • Example : To insert the Flow that was identified above, the URL to be entered is wfx-33f7a870-330e-11ec-98fc-32b5f385aed9.
     
   • If you want the inserted link to open in a new tab, then click the Open in new tab checkbox.
     
   
   
8. Click Insert.
   
9. Click Save Step.
