Upload a Pdf file to your Dashboard

Whatfix enables you to upload PDF files to the Dashboard and insert them in Flows, Smart Tips, and other Whatfix content.
Use the following steps to upload a PDF file to your Dashboard:

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Content.

Click All content.

Go to the Draft stage.

Click Create content.
To view the content that you just created, go to the Draft Stage of the Dashboard.

Click PDF.

On the PDF pop-up, enter the Title.

Drag and drop the PDF file from your local drive, or click Browse to select the PDF file from your local drive or library, or paste the PDF file as a link.
- Drag and drop or Browse option is not available for accounts with Self Hosted/ Export model.
- Only PDF files that are less than 10 MB in size are currently supported.
- Up to 2000 PDF files can be uploaded per ENT.
- Add search keywords under Keywords and tags under Tag to your PDF as required.
If your account has multiple Global tags, select the one with the highest value. For example, if the tags in your account are Global-Page, Global-Page_1, and Global-Page_2, content should be tagged with Global-Page_2. - Click Save PDF.

To view the PDF file that you just created, go to your Dashboard.

A link is generated for the PDF file uploaded from your local drive or library. Find this link inside the PDF content you created on the Dashboard. Insert the link in Flows, Smart Tips, and other Whatfix content.

The PDF file you upload to your Dashboard is stored on Whatfix cloud.
