1. Why is the Editor being sunset?

Sometimes the best way to move forward is to leave the past behind, and unfortunately with Whatfix Editor, this is one of those times. For enhanced experience and capabilities, all future improvements to Whatfix’s content creation experience are focused exclusively on Studio.

2. What are the benefits of using Studio over Editor?

The following are the benefits of using Studio,

• A faster, more seamless content creation experience

• A WYSIWYG(What you see is what you get) content creation tool that shows you how your content looks on your application as you create it

• New capabilities such as Launchers, Surveys, Branching Visualization, Precise Element Selection, etc.

3. As a content creator, do I need to create content again on Studio?

No, all the content that was created using Editor will be still be available and you can edit and make changes to them using the Studio.

4. Are there any capabilities of Editor that will not be carried forward to Studio?

All the capabilities of Editor are available on Whatfix Studio.

5. Does the migration to Studio require content creators to be trained again?

Content creators are at the core of the Studio design. Usability tests have validated that any customer who has tried Studio has found that it is easier and simpler than the Editor.
