Create a copy of Whatfix content

Whatfix enables you to copy existing Whatfix content. Editing the copied content will not impact the original content.

This feature is useful in case you want to create new content that are similar to existing content. For example, if you want to create a Pop-up that looks similar to an existing one, then copy the existing Pop-up and edit the copied Pop-up.

Note

The copy of the Whatfix content or widget is created with the title: Copy of <Content Title>.

Use the following steps to create a copy of a Whatfix content.

  1. On the Whatfix Dashboard, hover your cursor over the Whatfix content or widget you want to copy and then click the More icon.

  2. Click Copy.

Info

Whatfix content can be copied in Draft, Ready, Production, and the Archived section.
