When you search for any content in Self Help, the results are based on the Tags (Auto Tags and Role Tags) associated with it. The following two scenarios are possible when searching for any content in Self Help.
- If, on a certain page, all the conditions for the Tags are met, the content appears in the Self Help. This is counted as a successful search.
- If the content is present in the Self Help but doesn't appear while searching, it is because the relevant Tags conditions are not evaluated. This is counted as an unsuccessful search.
For example, if a Flow is configured with an 'Editor' Role Tag, it will appear in the Self Help only when a user with the editor role searches for it. If someone with a translator role searches for it, it leads to an unsuccessful search.
However, your analytic results are seen at a consolidated level - across your users, and because the same term could give different results due to these permissions, there can be instances where you see both successful and unsuccessful search results for the same keywords in Analytics.
Here is an example of the same text appearing in both Successful and Unsuccessful Search. | |
