Overview
Whatfix enables you to create a Task List on a Mirror simulation to present learners with a set of to-do tasks that helps them work through a training program while tracking their own progress. A green checkmark marks each task as learners complete it.
For example, you can create a Task List on a Mirror simulation to lay out the sequence of workflows a new hire should practice, so learners can self-track how much of the onboarding module they have finished.
For more information, see What is a Task List?
Use Cases
Use Task Lists to implement the following use cases:
Structure a new hire onboarding program as a clear list of workflows to practice.
Engage learners by enabling them to self-track progress across multiple simulated tasks.
Introduce a new feature or process by adding it as a trackable task within the training module.

Click Task Lists.

Enter the Task List segment name.

Note:
To display the name of the Task List to your learners enable the Use segment name for end user toggle.

Info:
A Task List can have Flows, Images, Videos, PDFs, Links, and Articles. For more information, see Add an Image to Task List, Add a Video to Task List, Add a PDF to Task List, Add a Link to a Task List and Add an Article to Task List.
Click Select.

Select the checkboxes next to the content that you want to include in the Task List.

Info:
Use the Select All option to select all the content from your library.

Click Okay.

Info:
Group the content that is displayed to appear under different logical headers. For more information, see Group content in a Task List.
Go to Select By Tags to add content using tags.

Info:
Choose from the Default Tags populated by Whatfix. These Tags have their own functions to help you show the right tasks to the right users.
For example, Flows tagged with the nolive tag display as a slideshow and do not display a see live option. This helps your end users skim through the Flows without having to visit your webpage or application. For more information on the functions of each of these tags, see Default Tags in your Whatfix account.
Click Set Visibility Rules. For more information, see New Visibility Rules.

Note:
If you use Role Tag as a Visibility Rule in the Task List, it overrides any role-based tags attached to the content added to the Task List. For more information, see Tags as Visibility Rules.
Expand the Where does the task list appear? section, and configure URL and Page tags. For more information, see Set Where your Content or Widget appears with the New Visibility Rules.

Expand the When does the task list start appearing? section, and configure when you want to start showing the Task List segment. For more information, see Set When your Content or Widget Appears with the new Visibility Rules.

Expand Who does the task list appear to? section, and configure who you want to show your content to. For more information, see Set Who can see your Content or Widget with the New Visibility Rules.

Click Save.

Note:
To display the Task List on your Mirror simulation, you must move both the Task List and the Mirror simulation from the Draft stage to the Production stage before you share them with your learners. Publish the Task List on the Whatfix Guidance Dashboard and the Mirror simulation on the Whatfix Mirror Dashboard.
For more information, see Publish all Whatfix content and widgets to Production and Publish Whatfix Mirror.
