Once you have created a project, you can publish it to make it live for your end users. It doesn't require any app update and the content can be updated or unpublished anytime.
You can publish projects in two ways,
Publish directly
Use the direct Publish option on the Whatfix Mobile Dashboard and target the content to specific users.
When you publish your projects directly, the content is shown to all users who are a part of the User Segment. For example, you can publish a Beacon directly and choose to target it to the new users segment. The Beacon appears for all the users who are a part of the new users segment.
Publish using Project ID
Using the Project ID generated through the Whatfix Mobile Dashboard and initialize it on any instance.
When you publish your project using Project ID, your mobile app will trigger the content only when the Project ID is intialized in your app. This is similar to accessing a website only through a shared URL. Any user with the Project ID can see your content regardless of being a part of the User Segment. This gives you extra flexibility to trigger your content wherever you want.
