Whatfix enables you to add multiple tabs to organize your Custom Dashboard. Consider a project manager overseeing multiple projects. They can use Whatfix to create a tab for each project. Within each tab, they can organize reports on project timelines, budget tracking, resource allocation, and risk management. Adding multiple Tabs enables you to efficiently organize and navigate your Custom Dashboard, leading to better data management and decision-making.
Use the following steps to add a Tab in a Custom Dashboard:
- On the Whatfix Analytics dashboard, click Dashboards.
Click Add dashboard tab.
Click Add.
Your title goes here
A new tab is created. The first tab automatically becomes the Default tab.
Enter a Tab name.
Click Create event property filters for this tab.
To filter the events in the Tab, select a filter using the Event property filter dropdown. For a list of all Event property filters, see Filter events using Event Filters and Breakdown in Trend insights.

When you create an Event property filter in Whatfix, it filters all the Insights in a Tab based on the selected Event property. For instance, if you have a Custom Dashboard for Flow analytics, create Tabs to filter Flow data by specific properties, such as:
Event Trigger Location: Filters Flows based on where they were triggered.
Content Title: Filters Flows based on their name.
This enables you to filter all the Insights in the Tab based on the selected Event property filter.
This setup enable you to easily switch between Tabs to view detailed data for each Insight. Whatfix also lets you specify which events each filter applies to, ensuring only filters relevant to that events are shown in the Insights. These pre-defined filters help you quickly access specific, filtered data.
To add events in the Tab, click Select applicable events.
Select all events that you want to add in the Tab.
Click Apply.
Click Add another to add more Event property filters and related events.

Click the Delete icon to delete any Event property filters and related events. Whatfix enables you to add up to 3 Event property filters to a single Tab.
Whatfix enables you to add up to 10 Tabs in a Custom Dashboard. Click Add to create more Tabs.
Click the More icon, and then click Delete to remove a Tab.
Click Save.
Follow the steps mentioned in the Create Custom Dashboards in Analytics to add widgets (Insights and text) to the new tab of the Dashboard.
