Article summary

Whatfix enables you to add multiple tabs to organize your Custom Dashboard. A Product Manager might create tabs within a Dashboard to provide custom feature usage reports for different stakeholders in the organization. Adding multiple tabs enables efficient organization and navigation of the Custom Dashboard, leading to improved data management and decision-making.

Use the following steps to add a tab in a Custom Dashboard:

  1. On the Whatfix Analytics dashboard, click Dashboards.

    Info

When you create an Event property filter in Whatfix, it filters all the Insights in a tab based on the selected Event property. For instance, if you have a Custom Dashboard for Flow analytics, create tabs to filter Flow data by specific properties, such as:

Event Trigger Location: Filters Flows based on where they are triggered.

This enables you to filter all the Insights in the tab based on the selected Event property filter.

This setup enables you to easily switch between tabs to view detailed data for each Insight. Whatfix also lets you specify which events each filter applies to, ensuring that only filters relevant to those events are shown in the Insights. These predefined filters help you quickly access specific, filtered data.
