New Integration Type for Custom Translation Tool

What is new?

Whatfix now offers Batch Translation Integration, specifically designed to efficiently manage large-scale translation projects. The new feature enables you to translate content with batch-processing tools, such as Rosetta and Microsoft Azure. You can now submit substantial amounts of content for translation and conveniently monitor the progress through scheduled status checks until completion.

Why does it matter to me?

This integration is particularly useful if you handle significant translation volumes, as it provides a more efficient way to process large content sets compared to real-time methods. It directly supports workflows with different translation services, ensuring smooth compatibility.

How do I do this?

Only Account Managers can set up this integration. To integrate the custom translation tool, you must specify certain batch details from your translation tool. Once the integration is set up, you can map new languages and directly translate content from the Translations page.

For more information, see Custom Translation Tool.

Archive Whatfix content from all Stages

What is new?

You can now archive content from all stages of the Whatfix Dashboard; Draft, Ready, and Production.

Why does it matter to me?

Archival of content is now faster. Previously, you could archive content only from the Draft and Ready stages. This meant you had to unpublish content and then archive it. With this update, you can archive directly from Production, saving significant time, especially when managing large volumes of content.

How do I do this?

This capability is available to all users without any additional configurations.

For more information, see Archive Whatfix content or widgets.

AI style editor for tooltip customization

What is new?

The AI style editor feature in Whatfix Studio and Dashboard enables you to use AI prompts to quickly create customized tooltips for Flows, Smart tips, and Beacons.

AI style editor

Why does it matter to me?

This feature offers a no-code way to create brand-compliant tooltips while maintaining design consistency. It also reduces the need for CSS knowledge, making customization faster and more accessible.

How do I do this?

AI style editor is a Beta feature. Use the Sign up for Beta button to get started.

For more information, see Use AI powered style editor for tooltip customization.

Whatfix Blockers

What is new?

Whatfix’s Blocker feature acts as a guide, directing end users through processes by ensuring they complete the required steps in the correct order. It restricts incorrect data entry, thereby maintaining process compliance and downstream data entry issues. For instance, the 'Submit' button may remain inactive until all the other previous steps are filled in correctly. The process ensures that end users stay on track and input data in a logical, error-free sequence.

Why does it matter to me?

The feature is a solution to problems that arise from end users adding incorrect or incomplete data, leading to the violation of business processes and multiple rounds of manual intervention, which costs time and productivity. Therefore, this feature helps you have a greater chance of enhancing digital adoption by reducing downstream data entry issues.

How do I do this?

Blocker is a Beta feature. Use the Sign up for Beta button to get started.

For more information, see What's a Blocker and Create a Blocker. Also, understand the WCAG behavior of Blockers.
