Add a new language for translation

The translation process begins with adding the language you want to translate the Whatfix content into. See the list of Languages Supported by Whatfix.
Only an Account Manager can perform the following task. For more information about available roles, see Whatfix User Roles.
Use the following steps to add a language (with the old translation experience):

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Settings.

Click Translations.

Click Add Languages.

In the pop-up, using the dropdown, select the new language that you want to add. You can choose to select and add multiple languages.

Click Add.
The new language appears in the Translations section.
Use the following steps to add a language (with the new translation experience):
The new translation experience is a Beta feature. To enable this experience, contact support@whatfix.com.

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Settings.

Click Translations.
- Click Add languages.
When there are no languages added, the Add languages button appears as follows:

In the pop-up, use the dropdown and select the new language that you want to add. You can choose to select and add multiple languages.

Click Add.
The new language appears in the Languages tab.
Updates to content need to be pushed to Production again to make them available to your end users.
