Whatfix uses a proprietary crawler that can index all the pages of your Repository and make them available as links while creating Self Help and Task List.
However, the process of adding Content Repository articles to a Task List segment is slightly different from adding them to Self Help.
In Self Help, you can add the Content Repository articles using a global_page tag if Smart Context is enabled. This is not applicable for Task List.
Whatfix enables you to add Content Repository articles to a Task List using tags. Tags help you organize content and display different content to different users.
For more information on tags, see Create Role or Page based Tags.
When you associate a tag to a Repository, Whatfix adds the tag to the entire content fetched from the Repository and also to any content added later. Search for your Repository content, which appear as links and add them to a Task List.
For more information on adding Repository content to Task list see, Add Repository Content to Self Help or Task List.
