Self Help on Web and Explorer on DAP on OS appear similar in function but serve different products, platforms, and use cases.
Self Help is a Whatfix Web widget that enables end users to access Whatfix content within a web application.
Explorer is a DAP on OS product. It enables end users to access Whatfix content from a system-level application.

What can I use it for? | Self Help provides end users with help content specific to a certain web application. This help content is typically contextual, appearing whenever applicable in the web application. Whatfix enables contextual help on web applications through Smart Context, a capability that automatically segments content to show on the correct pages of an application. | DAP on OS is not application-specific. The DAP on OS widget provides help content to end users for all applications used in an organization. Content can also be assigned as tasks to end users. Smart Context does not apply to DAP on OS. |
