One of the outputs generated each time you create a Flow is an embeddable article. Every Flow is automatically converted into an embeddable step-by-step article that is displayed along with the corresponding screenshots. The benefit of this format is that if there is a change in your user interface, all you need to do is to update the Flow for the changes to reflect in your article.
The following is a sample illustrating a Flow as an article:
Generate a Whatfix article from any Flow that's in any stage, be it in Draft, Ready, or Production. To generate the article, go to the respective stage and follow the steps below.
Use the following steps to embed content as an article:
-
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Content.
-
Click All content.
-
Click the required Flow.
-
Click the Embed dropdown menu.
-
Click Article from the dropdown menu.
-
Select the language in which you want to display the content.
-
Configure the width and title options.
-
Depending on the environment and format that you are working on, copy the respective HTML code.
-
Paste the copied code in your knowledge base where you want to display the article.
- Changes made to the task are reflected in the embedded article once the associated Flow is updated.
- If you use CDN servers, you need to move your changes to the Production stage before the updates are visible in multi formats.
