Enable Whatfix Analytics to capture engagement data

Whatfix Guidance Analytics provides usage and engagement-related data for all Whatfix content in easy-to-understand visual formats. This data enables changes to content where necessary and guides users to complete their goals.
Use the following steps to enable Whatfix Analytics for your account:
You can use the steps mentioned in the article to enable Whatfix Analytics for JS Embed and Browser Extension modes of deployment. To enable Whatfix Analytics for Self Hosted mode, see Enable Whatfix Analytics for Self-hosted Mode.

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Settings.

Click Analytics.
- On the Analytics page, select the Enable Whatfix Analytics checkbox.
This option enables both Guidance and Product Analytics.
- To block the capture of analytics data from specific environments, select the Block analytics data from specific environment checkbox.

- To capture and view analytics data across different stages, add the stages using the dropdown.
- By default, data is captured from the Production stage.
- For more information on getting analytics data across stages, see Get Analytics Data across CLM Stages.
- To visualize the data in the timezone of your choice, select the required timezone using the dropdown.
- By default, the analytics data is shown in the GMT+5:30 timezone.
- When you change the timezone in the Analytics section, you can visualize the data in the chosen timezone in both Guidance Analytics and Product Analytics.
