Whatfix continuously improves its product to ensure it meets users' needs and provides an exceptional experience. Here’s how Whatfix manages its updates:
Maintenance Releases
Frequency: Twice a week
Schedule: Every Monday and Wednesday
Purpose: These updates include bug fixes, performance improvements, and minor enhancements. These updates are crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of the software and addressing any issues promptly.
Product Feature Releases
Frequency: Once every 6 weeks
Schedule: On Wednesdays
Purpose: These updates introduce new features and significant improvements. They are customer-facing, meaning the changes and new functionalities are visible and usable by all users. These releases aim to enhance the user experience and provide valuable new capabilities.
Update Distribution and Requirements
How Customers Receive Updates:
Updates are not automatically available. You need to perform a Push to Production to accept the new release.
However, this is only applicable to end-user widgets such as Self Help, Tasklist, and more.
For the Dashboard and Studio, Whatfix releases are automatically updated for all customers.
Prerequisites:

Methods for Receiving Updates:
Cloud Deployment:
