The yellow exclamation mark () means that the original (default language) and translated content doesn't match. Whenever you make changes to content in the default language, Whatfix expects the translated content to also be edited. Whatfix compares the timestamp of the translated content with that of the updated content and flags a warning if the last saved timestamp of the translated content is older than the updated content.

Whatfix does not read or validate your content and looks only at absolute changes. Thus, even an additional space to the original content is considered an update.
