Account Manager (role) | The Account Manager has permission to perform all tasks in Whatfix. There are 3 other roles on the platform. To know more about each role and its permissions, see Whatfix User Roles. |
Advanced customization | Advanced customization enables you to fine-tune Whatfix configurations and behavior according to your unique needs. Some examples include: critical system functioning, such as identifying language and user role, triggering Whatfix content based on scenarios, and more. |
Advanced Visibility Rules (AVR) | Advanced Visibility Rules determine where, when, and to whom you display various Whatfix widgets, such as Self Help, Task List, and Pop-ups. Compared to the old Visibility Rules experience, it provides a more intuitive interface, expanded triggering options, and better support for advanced use cases. |
All content | The All content section shows all Static content, such as Images, Links, Videos, PDFs, and Articles, present on the Whatfix Guidance dashboard. |

Anonymized Whatfix ID | Whatfix generates a unique identifier called the Anonymized Whatfix ID when the user logs in for the first time. The ID is randomly generated and consists of a 16 character alphanumeric string, for example, 6idAi0oqW4sIPPFf. The Anonymized Whatfix ID enables anonymous tracking before the user is identified with a configured User ID. |
API | An API-based translation is a service where an Application Programming Interface (API) provides a software interface that enables Whatfix to programmatically send text to a cloud-based translation engine (For example, Microsoft Azure) and receive the translated text back in a different language. |
App Integrations | App Integrations enable you to exchange data and attribute streams between Whatfix and other products. |
Archive content | Enables you to archive Whatfix content directly from Draft, Ready, and Production stages, streamlining content lifecycle management. |
Area Chart | A chart that displays data as a series of data points connected by lines and filled with colors. It is used to show the changes in the magnitude of data in different categories over time, such as showing the total number of impressions of different widgets over a year. |
Ask Whatfix AI | Ask Whatfix AI is an AI-powered capability that automatically turns your end-user engagement queries into Trend Insight charts. |
Autocapture | Whatfix can automatically capture events from important user interactions and behavior on your application without any external configuration required. |
Auto Translate | Auto Translate is an AI translation capability that use Microsoft Azure Translation services to automatically translate Whatfix content from your default language to the language you want it to be translated to. |

CLM (Content Lifecycle Management) Stages | The Dashboard has 3 stages: Draft, Ready, and Production, that enables you to keep track of your content and widgets. Content and widgets in the Production stage are available to the end users. Draft and Ready stages are used to create, review, and edit content and widgets before pushing them to production. Any changes to themes or feature flags have to be pushed to Production from the Ready stage for them to take effect. |
Cohorts | Cohorts enable you to create a group of users based on specific criteria and analyze the group to take further actions. |
Completion Time | Completion Time enables you to filter your users based on the time they take to complete the Funnel steps. It considers the fastest time taken between each Funnel step per user, averaged across all users. |
Content | Content is any instructional material like Flow, video, text, image, PDF, or link that is created to guide users to perform a task efficiently. |
Content Aggregation | Content Aggregation is the ability to aggregate and search through your knowledge base and return search results in Whatfix Self Help. In addition to search, if your knowledge base content is effectively tagged, Whatfix can use Smart Context to list relevant content from your knowledge base and display it as links in Self Help. |

Content Versioning | Content Versioning enables you to track all the changes made to any content created on Whatfix. Whatfix enables you to revert these changes to the original content as well. |
Custom Events | Custom Events are user-defined events like User Actions, events captured using Whatfix API, and more. |
Custom Labels | Custom Labels enables you to change the name of certain labels in the Whatfix UI so that it fits your organization's style and branding guidelines. |

DAP | A Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) enables an efficient digital transformation journey by improving the adoption of enterprise applications. DAPs are deployed as an overlay on the application that allows the creation of in-app interactive and contextual Flows. This enables users to go through the software with ease, thus reducing the need for repeated training. |
Dashboards | Dashboards are a Product Analytics reporting feature that enables you to visualize your insights. They provide information at a glance to help you make data-driven decisions. For more information on how to visualize your insights, see Dashboards. |
Default Events | Default Events are all events generated for Whatfix content and widget interaction. For more information, see List of Whatfix-related Events. |
Drag and Drop | Drag Handlers are used to move or reposition components within the Pop-up. Each component has two Drag Handlers: the Horizontal Drag Handler for moving the component horizontally, and the Vertical Drag Handler for moving the component vertically. |
Drop-off | Drop-off measures the number of users who left a process without completing it. |
Delivery Mode | A way to show Pop-up to the end-users on the DAP on OS app. |

Editor (role) | The Editor role is used to create content on Whatfix and has the least amount of permissions. Users with an editor role can only create or edit their own content. There are 3 other roles on the platform. To know more about each role and its permissions, see Whatfix User Roles. |
End-User Feedback | End-User Feedback is an Explorer feature that enables your end users to provide feedback and register their requests and suggestions when they can't find what they are looking for in Self Help. |
Enterprise Attributes | Enterprise Attributes are attributes that are part of the application that are not associated with the user. For example, geography, department, account type, and more. These attributes can be used for content segmentation. |
Events | Events are triggered when your end users perform any action on the Whatfix content or Widgets in the application. |
Event Attribute | Event Attributes enable you to send additional contextual information along with Events to help with analysis and decision-making. For example, along with the button click event, additional attributes such as the URL, the title of the page where it was clicked, the text on the button, and various other attributes from the application can be captured and sent to give context to the button click event. Event Breakdown | Event Breakdown enables you to modify the various properties of the Events. For more information, see Filter events using Event Filters and Breakdown in Trend insights. |

This eliminates the need to remember the login details of two different applications. SSO minimizes the support tickets received by companies regarding forgotten password or account unlock requests by end-users. |

User breakdown | User breakdown enables you to modify the chart and group users based on various properties. For example, for the Flow completed event with the User filter set as Chrome browser, configuring the Breakdown as City, displays the chart based on the cities from where the Flow was completed by users using Chrome browser. User filter | Using the User Filter module, limit the scope of the events based on different criteria. For example, for the Flow start event, refine the results to show data only for those who fired it from the Chrome browser or from a specific location.
