Preview a Mirror screeen

Whatfix Mirror enables you to preview Mirror screens. This functionality enables you to evaluate the quality of your user training simulations.
For example, if you have captured a Mirror screen with a dropdown menu that contains additional options you want to display to your users. Use the preview to verify if the Mirror screen reflects all the options in the expanded state of the dropdown correctly.


Use the following steps to preview a Mirror screen:

  1. Launch Whatfix Studio on your application.
    CLM_editor plug in2
  2. Click Mirror.
    Mirror_click_mirror

  1. Click the Mirror folder.
    Mirror_sf_click_folder

  2. Go to the Mirror screen and then click the More icon.
    Mirror_sf_click_more

  3. Click Preview.
    Mirror_sf_click_preview_screen

In Preview, you can manually link the previewed screen and other screens within the Mirror. Additionally, you can mask or hide sensitive information on the previewed screen. For more information, see Manually link a Mirror screen and Edit Text and Mask Sensitive Information in a Mirror screen.
