Article Summary

Whatfix enables you to create rich text articles and place them inside Self Help or Task List segments. The text content can be used to answer simple queries or FAQs using short answers right inside the Self Help and Task List widgets.
Such contextual content saves your end users a lot of time, as they see this content on your application without needing to go outside your application to access relevant information.

Once your article is created, you can add it to Self Help. For more information, see Add an article to Self Help.

Similarly, you can add an article to Task List as well. For more information, see Add an article to Task List.

After pushing the Self Help and Task List segments along with the articles to Production, you can analyze the engagement of end users with the articles from different cities, countries, and more, using Product Analytics. For more information, see How can I see analytics of text content using Trend Insights?

You can create an Article on the Dashboard or by using the Whatfix Studio.

Whatfix recommends using the Studio to create static content as Auto tags are added to the content only when content is created using the Whatfix Studio. Auto tags help in segmenting content so that they appear contextually. If static content is created using the Dashboard, Content creators have to add these tags manually so they appear contextually in widgets like Self Help and Task List.
