Add Translation Tool

Whatfix enables you to add any third-party or internal tool to translate content based on two methods:

1. API based

2. File based (Coming soon)

API based

A asynchronous method that uses API requests to send and receive translated content.

Use the following steps to add a translation tool based on an API request:

2. Click Translation tools.

   

3. In the Translation tools page, click the Add icon.  

4. In the Integrating with Custom tool dialog box, enter the name of the tool.  

5. Select API based as the translation method.  

6. Click Continue. You are redirected to the Setup section.

   After you add the tool, map the languages you want the tool to translate.

File based (Coming soon)

A process that uploads content for translation using a method called polling, while checking for status periodically. It utilizes a cloud storage (Azure bucket) to retrieve translated content. The address or location of this translated content in the bucket is then provided to the custom translation tool to push the translated files back to Whatfix.
