Embed a Vimeo video using embed code

Whatfix enables you to embed Vimeo videos to any Pop-up template to deliver more information to your users. Embed the video in the description section of the Pop-up.

Adding a Vimeo video's embed code in a Pop-up is a 2-step process.
Step 1: Get the video embed code
Step 2: Insert the video embed code in the Pop-up using Visual Editor
Use the following steps to add a Vimeo video:
Step 1: Get the video embed code
Go to the Vimeo video that you want to include in the Pop-up.
Click Embed.
Copy the
<iframe>
code.
Step 2: Insert the video embed code in the Pop-up using Visual Editor
Use the following steps to insert the video embed code in the Pop-up using Visual Editor:
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.
Click Pop-ups.
Hover your cursor over the Pop-up segment you want to configure, and then click the Edit icon.
In the Description section, place the cursor where you want to add the video and double-click to open the Rich Text Editor.
Click the + icon. The Add Component dialog box opens.
On the Add Component dialog box, click Video.
Click the embed code icon.
Paste the embed code and click Insert.
Use the Drag and Drop feature to move or reposition the video around the Pop-up.
Use the Drag Handlers to move or reposition the video both vertically (column-wise) and horizontally (row-wise).
- When you make changes to the Pop-up using the Drag Handlers, you may not be able to undo certain changes. In that case, re-creation of the Pop-up may be necessary. For more information, see Can I undo the changes made with the Drag Handlers?
- If you want the video to autoplay for your end users, click Autoplay while inserting the video.
- Finish creating the Pop-up.
