With Beacon Analytics, find the engagement of your end users with the Beacon on your application.
Use the following steps to access Beacon Analytics:
-
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Guidance analytics.
-
Click Beacons.
- Choose to view the analytics data across different CLM stages.
- By default, only data from the Production stage is shown. If you want to get data from other stages, you need to configure them on your Whatfix Dashboard. For more information, see Get Analytics Data across CLM Stages.
-
For any of the following reports, use the filter to narrow down your reporting to specific criteria. By default, the filter is set to display data for the last 3 months.
-
To see how you can filter your reports by domain, see Analytics Filters - Domain Filter.
Effectiveness of Beacons
The analytics on the Beacon show you how many users visited the page where the Beacon was displayed and how many clicked or hovered their cursor over the Beacon to see the tooltip.
The Beacon Analytics page displays the following information:
Column | Description |
---|---|
No of Users Shown | The number of unique users who visited the page where the Beacon was displayed. |
No of Users clicked | The number of unique users who clicked or hovered their cursor over the Beacon to see the tooltip. |
Creation Date | Beacon creation date |
Information for each Beacon can be seen in a pie chart by selecting the Beacon from the dropdown menus.
Select the Beacon collection from the first dropdown menu and the Beacon from the second dropdown.
The pie chart displays the following information:
Not Interacted: The number of users who did not click or hover their cursor over the Beacon.
Interacted: The number of users who clicked or hovered their cursor over the Beacon.
