Each organization may have Whatfix enabled on multiple applications. With Enterprise Insights, you can understand the total number of users using Whatfix across all applications. Trend Insights enables drilling down on the number of unique users using Whatfix across applications.

Prerequisites

The following are the prerequisites to find the number of unique users on all applications using Enterprise Insights:

  • Enable User Identification on all applications.

  • Ensure that the User ID is same across all applications.

Steps to measure utilization

Use the following steps to find the utilization of Whatfix across applications:

The following example shows unique end-user engagement with any Whatfix content across all applications:

  1. On the Enterprise Insights dashboard, click Insights.

  1. Click + Create insights.

  2. Click Trend Insights.

  3. Click the Edit icon to enter the title for your insight.

  4. Enter a description that helps explain what the Trend Insight is about.

  5. Under Events, click Add event.

  6. Under Default events, select Any Whatfix Events.

  • Any Whatfix Events shows end-user engagement with any Whatfix content such as Beacons, Flows, and more.

  • To measure the engagement of specific Whatfix content such as Pop-ups, Beacons, and more, across applications, add the respective events. For more information, see List of Whatfix-related events.

  1. Under Breakdown, select Event type and Applications.

These breakdowns help drill down users by the type of Whatfix content they engaged with and the applications on which they engaged with the content.

  1. Select any User filter or User breakdown as required. For more information on User Filters and Breakdown, see Filter Insights data using User Filters and User Breakdown.

  2. Select the timeframe.

  3. Select the Unique users metric.

  4. Change the chart type as required.

  5. Scroll down to see the chart generated.

  • Add User Id as the User breakdown to determine which users engage with Whatfix content across applications.

  • By default, the Insights data may contain identified (users identified by User ID) and unidentified (users not identified but denoted by cookie values) users. To filter unidentified users for clearer data, see How can you filter unidentified users in Enterprise Insights?
